How do I manage my hair as a person with a disablility? I have been disable since May 16, 2010. By Gods blessings and the prayers from everyone who knew me, not only am I alive, but I able to regain some function in my body. My arm was my last surgery, and recovering from it was very hard. Anywho back with the hair business, thank God fot my hair because it is as stronger than me lol I had everything in my hair, for a month straight, and then an angel helped me by jumping through hoops. Finally she washed my hair, not once but TWICE! WHen it came for me to wash my hair, it took me 2 hours in the shower alone, with a chair with an armrest, and I didnt even styled it. WHen I got back into my room it took me 2-3 extra hours to section it off and braid/twist them.
But I refuse to let anyone who isnt trust worthy touch my hair. Its gotten easier as I do more and more theraphy but its still a very emotionally draining for me.
