No Offense But

I know, for a fact, that you have encountered those people who ask  you why did you go natural. I encountered them everyday, by hair beauticians, my family, their friends. They seem more upset at me for doing what I did to my hair than my mother! They literally caught a B*fit. These are the questions and responses I get from people.


Person who thinks Im stupid:Why did you go natural?
Me: Because I wanted to...
PWTIS: Oh your following the trend!
Me:Noooo I've always wanted to do this its just that by the time I was able to do it, it became a trend.
PWTIS: I dont know why people are doing it, its much easier to take care of your hair permed.
Me: Its easy to take care of my hair like this
PWTIS: Don't worry you'll perm your hair again.
ME: [Now Im really upset] Noooo I like my hair like this...>.O
PWTIS: Yeah my sister did it too, you'll come back.
Me: I might like to experiment on it and may get locks later but its not for the reason  you think its for.
Mom: She looks ugly like that, I dont know whats wrong with her, she has beautiful long hair with the relaxer, but ever since she's left the nest she only been trouble.
Me: MOM, dont start!!!!


And then this leads into an argument which never cease. You get my draft though when I say "those" people.  Or those other people who think your a smart soul sistah for having your hair the way it is. If only my mother knew that I bag more men and boys with my hair the way it is now than ever before...
